SEATTLE — Alan Gordon headed in the tying goal off a feed from Mike Magee late in the first half, helping the Galaxy extend its unbeaten streak to six games with a 1-1 draw against the Seattle Sounders on Sunday.
Gordon’s goal was his second of the season for the Galaxy (1-1-6), which played the final 32 minutes with a man advantage after Seattle’s James Riley was sent off with a red card following a multiplayer scuffle in the 58th minute.
The Galaxy is 1-0-5 during its unbeaten streak, the lone victory coming on May 2 against New York.
The Sounders (4-2-2) played to their second straight tie and are unbeaten in their last three games.
