Dontrelle Willis gave up one hit in 6 1/3 innings and the Detroit Tigers defeated the Texas Rangers, 4-0, Tuesday night.

Willis (1-0), making his second start since coming off the disabled list, where he was put because of an anxiety disorder, won for the first time since beating the Chicago Cubs on Sept. 25, 2007, while with the Florida Marlins.

The Tigers won their fourth consecutive game and ended Texas’ winning streak at seven games.
