Re “Slump? What Slump?” by Matea Gold, Nov. 5: If anyone in the general public wonders why this country has become so politically polarized, he/she doesn’t have to look any further than the nightly “news” on Fox and MSNBC to figure it out. In the meantime, CNN suffers the consequences by merely reporting the facts.

But then, in this day and age, it’s become very apparent that people don’t want facts and real news. They want a show, and that’s what Fox and MSNBC give them.
