Light rain, lights on
Re “Shriver and her cellphone,” Opinion, Oct. 15
While reading the very entertaining Meghan Daum Op-Ed article on the first lady’s illegal use of a cellphone while driving, I thought about one law that California drivers frequently ignore: turning headlights on while driving during rainfall.
Of course, it’s understandable; we were all confused recently -- what was this water coming out of the sky? Please, when it rains, turn on your lights. It’s the law.
