International Gem and Jewelry Show All that glitters might not be gold, but it wouldn’t be out of place in Santa Monica this weekend at the International Gem and Jewelry Show. Since the show’s modest beginnings in 1967 as the first of its kind to sell directly to the public, the roving bazaar has personal adornments for seemingly everyone. Wintervention Intrepid skiers and snowboarders will stop at nothing to find new frontiers to conquer, even if doing so means traveling to the ends of the Earth. Heritage Square Go back in time at Heritage Square’s annual holiday lamplight celebration. This year, more than 30 docents will help re-create the holiday celebrations experienced in the museum’s historic Victorian homes in the years 1876, 1887, 1919 and 1958.
