And Everything Is Going Fine Steven Soderbergh’s documentary on the late writer and performer Spalding Gray captures him at both his most manic and depressive. Using found footage and interviews, Soderbergh reconstructs Gray’s life as he prepared what he intended to be his final monologue just before he drowned in the East River.
