Las Vegas: Get a winter break on a three-night stay at Planet Hollywood

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas is having a winter room sale: Stay three nights and save 30% off the room tab.

The deal: The 30% off deal applies to all categories of rooms at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and at PH Westgate Towers, the more glamorous 52-story building featuring timeshares and suites that opened last year. Use the promotion code “30DISC” when making a reservation.

When: The offer is good through March 3 and subject to availability.

Tested: I checked online and found a room with two queen beds Feb. 17-20 in the resort-casino. With the 30% discount, the room rate averaged $90 a night, or $270 for the whole stay (excluding tax). I then checked regular rates for the same room on the same nights and the discount checked out. One other thing (as the hotel’s website reminds you): No resort fees will be tacked on to your bill.
