LeBron James scores 47, including 24 in a row, as Cavaliers win
LeBron James scored 47 points, including 24 straight for Cleveland in the first half, and the Cavaliers held off the New York Knicks, 113-106, Saturday night for their 11th straight victory.
James, who had eight rebounds and eight assists, set a franchise record with 35 points in the first half thanks to his remarkable streak. He needed just 5:29 to score 24 straight -- 16 to end the first quarter, eight to start the second.
Still, the Knicks, who trailed by 24 in the first half, rallied to within 109-106 with 2:19 to play.
