Bobby Salcedo rally: An article in Tuesday’s Section A about an event to honor El Monte school board member Bobby Salcedo, who was recently slain in Mexico, stated that the Mountain View High student choir performed. The El Monte High School student choir was the group that sang “California Dreamin’.”

2010 roundup: The Travel section’s roundup of events in 2010 incorrectly reported Sunday that cabins for the maiden voyage of Cunard’s new Queen Elizabeth ocean liner could be booked beginning in April. Those ticket sales began in April 2009, and the maiden voyage, scheduled for October, is sold out. Some space remains for the maiden voyage season; for information, see www.cunard.com. Also, the date of a solar eclipse was incorrectly reported as July 12. It will take place July 11.

3-D television: An article in Business on Sunday about new technology making home versions of the 3-D format viable said that moviegoers watching 3-D films in the 1950s were issued color-tint glasses. The 3-D glasses of that era generally used polarized lenses to create the depth effect.

Online shopping: An article in Business on Thursday about online shoppers spending 5% more in 2009 than 2008 said consumers spent $26.8 billion online during the 2008 holiday season. The correct figure is $25.8 billion.

Faces to Watch: A subhead above a Faces to Watch item in the Dec. 27 Calendar section identified Thomas Heatherwick as an architect. Heatherwick is a designer.

Daytime TV judges: An article in Friday’s Calendar section about judges on daytime television said “The People’s Court” airs on KTTV. The series airs on KCAL Channel 9.

Tasmanian devils: An article in Friday’s Section A about a cancer afflicting Tasmanian devils said the animals could eat whole cows, including bones and fur. Though the animals will devour parts of cow carcasses, they do not eat the entire carcass.

Cuban tourism: The Travel section’s Foreign Briefing reported Sunday that Cuba expected to log a record 2.4 million tourists this year, up 3.3% from last year. It expects to have logged that number for 2009, up 3.3% from 2008.

Boat maker: A Dec. 24 article in Business about the revival of Indian Motorcycle misspelled the boat brand Riva as Reva.
