Forget Queen Bee (Blair) over on “Gossip Girl.” It’s all about “A” in this teen soap, which airs on ABC Family (not the CW!) and centers on four friends who share a dirty little secret after the disappearance of clique headmistress, Alison. A series of notes and texts signed “A” adds to the mystery. Think “Gossip Girl” meets “I Know What You Did Last Summer” meets “Twin Peaks.” (Tuesday)

If you prefer a Sam Worthington who’s more brawn than Smurf, talk about “Clash of the Titans.”

After roaming the planet of Pandora as a Na’vi human hybrid in “Avatar,” the Aussie actor brushed up on his Greek mythology by starring as Perseus in the remake of the fantasy-action flick. Wonder if Harry Hamlin will relive the menagerie of mythical monsters when the film is released on DVD? (Tuesday)

Feeling unusual? Talk about Tom Jones’ latest release.

The septuagenarian, who scored hits in the ‘60s with such songs as “Delilah” and “It’s Not Unusual,” returns with his newest studio album, “Praise and Blame.” Jones — or is it Sir Tom? — duets with the likes of the Cardigans’ Nina Persson and the Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde in the gospel/blues-tinged album. In the Brigitte Berman-documentary, which hits theaters in limited release, the magazine publisher is revealed to be more than a set of arms flanking a never-ending stream of sun-kissed blonds. “Hef” as a social activist is explored with a look at how he helped change the social and political dialogue in America.
