Joe Johnson’s buzzer-beater gives Hawks overtime win over Bobcats

at Atlanta 93, Charlotte 92 (OT): Joe Johnson sank a fall-away jump shot over three Bobcats defenders just before time expired. Johnson, returning for the Hawks after missing two games because of Achilles’ tendinitis, had 18 points, including 16 in the fourth quarter and overtime.

at Phoenix 110, Utah 100: Amare Stoudemire scored 44 points, making 14 of 16 field-goal attempts, and the Suns moved to within one game of the Jazz for fourth in the Western Conference.

at Portland 76, Washington 74: Brandon Roy’s tiebreaking jumper with 0.9 seconds to play won it for the Trail Blazers.

Boston 94, at Houston 87: Paul Pierce scored 26 points, and Ray Allen hit five three-pointers and had 19 points as the Celtics snapped the Rockets’ winning streak at four games.

Oklahoma City 115, at Toronto 89: Kevin Durant scored 31 points and Jeff Green had 25 to lead the Thunder to its sixth victory in seven games.

at New York 92, Philadelphia 88: Toney Douglas scored 14 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, and the Knicks won without starters David Lee (right knee tendinitis) and Wilson Chandler (sore left groin).

at San Antonio 147, Golden State 116: Manu Ginobili scored 23 points as the Spurs posted their highest point total since Gregg Popovich took over as head coach in 1996.
