AT THE PLATE:Blake DeWitt hit a home run in the fourth inning against Cleveland starter Jake Westbrook. Garret Anderson was three for three with a triple and two singles.

ON THE MOUND: Eric Stults, bidding for the fifth starting spot, didn’t give up a hit until the fourth inning but then gave up three earned runs, including a two-run homer by Austin Kearns. Relief pitcher Aaron Miller later gave up another two-run homer to Kearns.

EXTRA BASES:When Cleveland’s Jose Constanza tripled to center field, Dodgers center fielder
Xavier Paul
bobbled the ball, allowing Constanza to score.

UP NEXT:In split-squad games Monday at 1 p.m., right-hander Carlos Monasterios is scheduled to start against the Angels at Camelback Ranch, and left-hander Clayton Kershaw is set to start against the Brewers at Milwaukee’s park in Phoenix.
