Arizona immigration: An article in Tuesday’s Section A about lawsuits filed against Arizona’s new anti-illegal immigration law did not fully describe the measure. The article said the law requires police to determine the status of people they suspect are illegal immigrants. The law applies only to people whom police have stopped for another reason and suspect are in the country illegally.

Carly Fiorina: An article in Thursday’s Section A about former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina’s quest for the Republican U.S. Senate nomination said allegations that the company had evaded the U.S. trade embargo against Iran first surfaced in a December 2008 newspaper report. Several reports had been published before then mentioning HP among companies suspected of skirting the embargo.

Culina restaurant: A review of Culina in Thursday’s Food section stated that the restaurant’s corkage fee is $50. It had been $50 but is now $25.

White House dinner: An article in Thursday’s LATExtra section about President Obama’s state dinner honoring the president of Mexico said two young Mexican singers entertained after the meal. The performers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, are guitarists.

Midterm elections: An article in Thursday’s Section A about the Republican Party’s prospects in the fall midterm elections said voter Jeremy Chesser was from Bartstown, Ky. The city is Bardstown, Ky.
