Jamey Johnson: An article about singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson in the Sept. 28 Calendar section said that Matthew McConaughey’s girlfriend, Camila Alves, brought Johnson and his band in to play for her husband’s 40th birthday party last year. The party was for her boyfriend, McConaughey.
International hackers: An Oct. 1 Business section article about international schemes that used computer viruses to steal millions of dollars from bank accounts in the U.S. quoted a security analyst and described his company, Fortinet Inc., as a cyber security research firm. The company is a maker of network security devices.
Robert Truax obituary: The obituary of rocket pioneer Robert C. Truax in the Sept. 30 LATExtra section said he received a degree from the Naval Academy’s postgraduate school. He received the degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.
Gloria Cheng: A review of a recital by pianist Gloria Cheng in the Sept. 30 Calendar section misspelled the first name of composer Don Davis as Dan.
