Tom Reed’s for Members Only: This new episode salutes “African American Women of Courage” (11 a.m. KSCI).

Chuck: Chuck and Sarah (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) try to become better communicators as they join Ellie and Awesome (Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin) on a trip to Costa Gravas, where they are reunited with Generalissimo Goya (guest star Armand Assante) in this new episode (8 p.m. NBC).

House: House (Hugh Laurie) and his team make unexpected discoveries about a patient admitted to the hospital after uncontrollable vomiting in this new episode (8 p.m. Fox).

God in America: This three-night, six-hour series looks at the historical role that religion has played in the public life of the United States. The first hour explores the origins of America’s religious landscape, while hour two considers the beginnings of religious liberty (9 p.m. KCET).

Carlos: Ilich Ramírez Sánchez (a.k.a. the Jackal) executes operations for Palestinian radicals in the new three-part docudrama (9 p.m. Sundance).

Cake Boss: Ushered in by a daylong marathon of previous episodes, the unscripted series returns with a special three-part story (concluding next week) that finds Buddy Valastro and his entire family visiting Italy to attend a cousin’s wedding and visit the parents’ hometowns (9 p.m. TLC).

Chase: In the wake of a brutal murder, fugitive Faith Maples (Jennifer Morrison) takes her young daughter along on a killing spree across Texas, in this new episode (10 p.m. NBC).

Texas Quints: The unscripted family series returns for a new season (10 p.m. TLC).

Castle: After a young mathematician is gunned down with a 200-year-old bullet, Castle (Nathan Fillion) imagines a time-traveling murderer (10 p.m. ABC).

MOVIES

Reviving Ophelia: Close-knit sisters (Jane Kaczmarek and Kim Dickens) help their teenage daughters (Rebecca Williams, Carleigh Beverly) when one of the girls begins to suspect her cousin’s boyfriend may be abusing her. Nick Thurston also stars in the new TV movies (9 p.m. and midnight Lifetime).
