Gossip Girl: Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is tempted to venture back into Manhattan by a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet Tim Gunn of “Project Runway” fame in this new episode (9 p.m. KTLA).

In Treatment: As Season 3 opens, the recently divorced Paul (Gabriel Byrne) tries to cope with his fear that he may be developing Parkinson’s disease (9 p.m. HBO). A second new episode follows at 9:30.

American Restoration: This new series follows Rick Dale — the go-to restoration guy for the “Pawn Stars” — and his crew, which includes his teenage son, as they run a Las Vegas-based restoration business, which finds, restores and “upcycles” cool objects ranging from Cadillacs to Coke machines (9 p.m. History). A second new episode follows at 9:30.

Thintervention With Jackie Warner: Clients return for the season finale of the weight loss series (10 p.m. Bravo).

Weeds: In this new episode Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) takes up with an old pal (Richard Dreyfuss) (10 p.m. Showtime).

The Buried Life: The guys chase Robert Pattinson to a club and try to get a lock of his hair in this new episode of the unscripted series (10:30 p.m. MTV).

Dead Set: This bizarre series begins its run on eviction night on a fictional “Big Brother” series, but as cast members are being interviewed, zombies begin to attack (Midnight IFC).

Nazi Supership: In this new special, experts break down the events leading to the naval battle that sent the Bismarck, Hitler’s “unsinkable ship,” to the bottom of the ocean nine days after the vessel went to sea (6 and 9 p.m. National Geographic).

Great Escape: Revenge on the Gestapo: This new special profiles the RAF team that worked within the remains of Hitler’s Reich to pursue the Gestapo members for murdering 50 men who escaped from a POW camp in what became known as “The Great Escape” (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic).
