Dance Cam Slam: In this new unscripted series, dancers compete via web cams (10 p.m. VH1).

I Can’t Do This but I Can Do That: This new special profiles children with learning differences (7:30 p.m. HBO).

The Real Story of Halloween: This new special traces the holiday from its roots as a pagan holiday honoring departed souls to modern traditions of breaking rules, pushing boundaries and wearing disguises (8 p.m. History).

William Kentridge: Anything Is Possible: The artist stages a production of “The Nose” for the Metropolitan Opera (10 p.m. KCET).
