The Golden Bed Cecil B. DeMille is best remembered for grand epics such as “Cleopatra” and “The Ten Commandments,” but he was equally adept at crafting melodramas. His 1925 film “The Golden Bed” is a tale of wealth and ruin, of love and betrayal. Historian Bob Birchard, author of “Cecil B. DeMille’s Hollywood,” will introduce the film.
