Business reporter Andrea Chang says Santa Monica Internet start-up Dog Vacay helps you find a home that will take in your dog when you go out of town.
So far, 600 homes have signed up to participate in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. They set their own rates -- usually $15 to $80 a day.
Dog Vacay is the latest start-up from Science, a Santa Monica tech incubator founded by former Myspace CEO Mike Jones.
