Apple to live stream rumored iPad mini announcement at 10 a.m.

Apple is set to live stream its event Tuesday morning when it is widely expected to announce the iPad mini.
The Cupertino, Calif., tech company set up an online page with a video player that will live stream the announcement. Currently, the page shows the image Apple included on the invitation to the event.
The live streaming is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PDT.

Additionally, the event will also be available for viewing over Apple TV. Users of that product will notice a new icon in their main menu that reads “Apple Events” where the live stream will be available.
The company is expected to announce a smaller version of its iPad tablet that reportedly will be named the iPad mini or iPad Air. It is expected to have a 7.85-inch screen.
Apple also is expected to announce a handful of new computers, including a 13-inch MacBook Pro laptop with a high-resolution Retina display.
