Sean Parker spending millions, employing hundreds in June wedding
SAN FRANCISCO -- Facebook billionaire and tech mogul Sean Parker has a staff of hundreds and is spending millions to create a whimsical backdrop for his fairy-tale wedding in Big Sur to Alexandra Lenas, a source tells us.
The total price tag could climb as high as $10 million, the person said.
Nearly $9 million alone is going to building faux ruins, waterfalls, bridges and a gated cottage in Big Sur, according to TMZ.com.
The stone dance floor in the woods surrounding the Ventana Inn & Spa will set the 34-year-old back $350,000. The plants and flowers another $1 million. TMZ.com has photographs of the landscape company at work.

The grandiose arrangements are a bit tough to keep secret even at the Ventana Inn, which advertises itself as the perfect spot for “extravagant” weddings.
After a long engagement, Parker is marrying Lenas, with whom he has a 2-month-old daughter. Wedding guests will stay at the Ventana Inn the weekend of June 1 and will be dressed by Ngila Dickson, the costume designer from “The Lord of the Rings.”
Save-the-date emails were sent out in the form of medieval-looking scrolls, but Parker has denied the wedding outfits are for a medieval or “Game of Thrones” theme. They are, he said on Facebook, “modern suits and dresses with some elements of Victorian flair and whimsy.”
