Brian Baumgartner of ‘The Office’ lists Los Feliz modern for rent
Brian Baumgartner, known for his role as Kevin Malone on “The Office,” has listed his updated Midcentury home in Los Feliz for rent at $5,250 a month.
The boxy contemporary home, found in the Franklin Hills area of Los Feliz, hints at its Arte Moderne heritage with floor-to-ceiling glass and a patio framed in a canopy of steel bars. Inside, the nearly 2,000-square-foot floor plan is awash in rich cork flooring, hardwood built-ins and other designer finishes.
An updated kitchen, a step-down living room, a dining room, a powder room occupy the top floor of the home. Two bedroom suites and two full baths can be found on the lower. The master suite comes complete with a sitting area and a fireplace.
Baumgartner, 41, wed longtime girlfriend Celeste Ackelson in April with “Office” co-stars Jenna Fischer, Oscar Nunez and John Krasinski looking on. Since the NBC series came to an end in 2013, he has appeared in episodes of CBS’ “Mike & Molly” and FX’s “The Bridge.”
The television and film actor purchased the home in April 2012 for $1.067 million, according to public records. Caroline Berkman Lewis of Partners Trust Real Estate Brokerage and Acquisitions is the listing agent.
