Actress Jensen Buchanan, of “The Young and the Restless,” among other soap operas, has sold a home in Brentwood for $2.35 million.

The remodeled Traditional-style house, built in 1955 and set in the Mandeville Canyon area, has a single-level open floor plan with lots of natural light, hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings.

It has a brick fireplace in the living room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms within the 2,116 square feet of living space. The kitchen features a beamed ceiling, stainless-steel appliances and an eat-at island.

A storybook-like stone bridge with a waterfall overlooks the swimming pool in the backyard. A covered terrace, a pavilion and an outdoor kitchen complete the third of an acre of grounds.

Buchanan, 56, also has appeared on the daytime soap operas “Another World,” “As the World Turns,” “General Hospital” and “One Life to Live.” More recently, she has been in the digital series “The Bay.”

The property previously sold three years ago for $1.9 million.

Jade Mills and Johnny Schell of Coldwell Banker were the listing agents. Sasha Arefi represented the buyer.
