Google’s answer to the iPhone 5s has arrived, and it looks promising.

The tech giant last week announced the Nexus 5 and immediately began selling it online. Within minutes, the black 16-gigabyte version sold out on Google Play.

The Nexus 5 starts at $349 for the 16-gigabyte version with no contract. It is also available in white, and a 32-GB version can be purchased for $399.

Google’s new gadget is built by LG, which also made the Nexus 4, and it’s the first device to run Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Nexus 5 sports a 5-inch full 1080p HD display. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and runs using a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Perhaps the Nexus 5’s biggest improvement over its predecessor, though, is its ability to connect to high-speed LTE cellular networks. The Nexus 4 could only connect to 4G networks.
