50 Cent’s SUV bulletproof — but not Mack truck-proof

Rapper 50 Cent apparently has a bulletproof SUV, but that won’t stop a Mack truck.

The performer was hospitalized briefly early Tuesday morning after his car was rear-ended by a big rig, according to This Is 50, a website associated with the rapper.

The site shows 50 Cent being taken away on a stretcher with a brace around his neck and wheeled into a hospital. News outlets are reporting that he was taken to a hospital in Queens and then released. According to Billboard, sources close to the rapper say he’s “fine.”

Music website Complex Music reports that the driver of the big rig says the load in his truck shifted, causing him to lose control of the truck. Calls Tuesday morning to New York police to confirm were not immediately returned.

Photos on the performer’s website showed damage to the SUV’s rear end, but the Mack truck appeared to be in even worse shape, with a hole torn in the front.

That’s some SUV.
