This screen hero has a new pint-size sidekick: Armie Hammer is a father, the Los Angeles Times has confirmed.
Hammer and his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, welcomed a daughter Monday, “The Lone Ranger” star’s rep told People exclusively, adding that both ladies were “doing great!”
The “Social Network” actor and the journalist, who married in 2010, revealed they had a baby on the way back in June.
Chambers was the guest of honor at a baby shower in early November and told Us Weekly at the time: “It was the perfect shower and way to welcome baby Hammer into the world.”
“Baby Hammer” is still the wee one’s working title at this point, as far as the public is concerned. Her name, weight and other details haven’t been released.
The baby girl arrived with the assistance of Dr. Jay Goldberg, a Hammer rep said. The doc practices out of Beverly Hills and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Hammer can be seen next summer in a reboot of “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,” starring Henry Cavill, Hugh Grant and Alicia Vikander. He’ll play Illya Kuryakin, a character David McCallum -- Dr. Donald Mallard on “NCIS” -- brought to the small screen in the 1960s TV series of the same name.
