Jake Owen, Lacey Buchanan split after three years of marriage

What Jake Owen ain’t got, at least not for much longer? A wife.
The country singer and Lacey Buchanan are getting divorced after three years of marriage, he announced Friday via social media.
“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” tweeted Owen, 33, along with a statement about the split.
“I wanted to let my fans know how much I’ve appreciated their support of not only my career, but my family as a whole,” the “Beachin’” singer said. “Sadly, Lacey and I have decided to end our marriage.
The couple, who met during the making of his “Eight Second Ride” music video, married in May 2012 after a monthlong engagement. They welcomed a little girl that Thanksgiving.
“We want to focus on our daughter Pearl and make sure that she has a beautiful life with loving parents,” Owen’s statement continued. “We appreciate you respecting our privacy during this time.”
Owen is on tour, with shows Friday and Saturday nights in Wisconsin and Minnesota, respectively. He’ll be hitting Pomona on Sept. 26.
