Fans of “The Good Wife,” are you missing your Josh Charles fix? The TV hottie hasn’t gone far: Just over to Comedy Central for a guest bit on “Inside Amy Schumer” in which he and the funny lady parody HBO’s notoriously dramatic series “The Newsroom.”

Instead of taking control of a broadcast newsroom, we find Charles spoofing Jeff Daniels’ Will McAvoy character in a fast-food setting in “The Foodroom.” Like McAvoy, his character is fighting for the soul of America.

Unlike McAvoy, he’s hoping to do it with french fries.

Schumer squares off against him as another manager in the restaurant, riffing off the role of “News Night With Will McAvoy” exec producer MacKenzie McHale, played by Emily Mortimer.

The fireworks, the passion and the breaking-news drama are all there, in the familiar style “bestowed” upon audiences by “The Newsroom” creator Aaron Sorkin. Only the Giggle Meals have been changed.

Peep the video below, or see it here, along with other clips from the series.

“Inside Amy Schumer” premieres Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on Comedy Central.
