Max Greenfield of ‘New Girl’ is expecting his second child

Who’s that girl? Or boy? It’s Schmidt! Max Greenfield is expecting his second child.

The scene-stealing “New Girl” star and his wife, Tess Sanchez, have another baby on the way, his rep confirmed to the Los Angeles Times on Monday.

Greenfield, 34, and Sanchez are already parents to a little girl named Lilly, according to Us Weekly, which first reported the news.

The couple, who wed in 2008, welcomed that new girl back in 2010, before Greenfield broke out as the mononymous Schmidt -- he of the pithy one-liners, personalized condoms, sparkling spray tanner and reason for the existence of the douchebag jar -- on the Fox comedy with Zooey Deschanel.

Speaking of Deschanel, the show’s star and producer is pregnant too, expecting her first child with fiance Jacob Pechenik later this year.

In March, Fox announced that it was renewing the comedy for its fifth season and had already started production on Season 5 to accommodate schedules before Deschanel goes on maternity leave. Her pregnancy will not be written into the show, which will log its 100th episode during the 2015-2016 season, Show Tracker reported.
