Nicole Kidman reveals her snap decision to marry Keith Urban

When it works, it works -- so why not go with it? That’s what Nicole Kidman did after dating Keith Urban for less than a month.

“I’m spontaneous. I jump in,” the “Paddington” actress told Elle by way of explaining how she made the decision to marry him very early in their relationship.

“I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other,” she said. “I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it’s a more natural process.”

The two Aussies actually met at G’Day L.A. in January 2005, were linked romantically that summer and got married in June 2006. Word that they were engaged didn’t leak until a red-carpet interview Kidman did a month before the ceremony.

Kidman, who’s 47, also reiterated her continuing desire to have another baby with Urban, father to their young daughters Sunday and Faith.
“My grandmother had her last at 49,” she said upon noticing that Elle’s writer was expecting. “Every month, I’m like, ‘I hope I’m pregnant!’ ”

Ignoring her publicist’s urge to keep that tidbit under wraps, Kidman doubled down: “‘Off the record’?,” she protested. “I don’t mind! Why not, right? I wish I was!”
