Neil deGrasse Tyson will be on the Halloween-themed episode of ‘Regular Show’

Nope, not a trick. Neil deGrasse Tyson will appear in the Halloween episode of “Regular Show.” Since October means Halloween-themed specials, Cartoon Network is celebrating with a full night of spooky episodes of “The Powerpuff Girls,” “Teen Titans Go!,” “Uncle Grandpa” and more.

After “Regular Show’s” Season 7 finale saw Mordecai, Rigby and friends blasted off into space, this eighth (and final) season has focused on the gang’s intergalactic adventures. So it’s only fitting that the series’ final half-hour Halloween episode, “Terror Tales of the Park VI,” features a cameo from everyone’s favorite astrophysicist and cosmologist: Neil deGrasse Tyson.

“Sorry guys, it’s nothing personal,” says the animated version of Tyson in a clip of the episode. “This is just how the universe works. Spaghettification is real, and delicious.” You can see the full clip above.

The real-life Tyson, of course, has shared all the wonders of science through his various pop culture appearances, which has included hosting the 2014 TV series “Cosmos,” helping Superman find Krypton in comics and even getting caught in a rap feud for refuting those who believe the Earth is flat. But if the clip is anything to go by, it looks like Tyson’s science in “Regular Show” will be a tad bit more silly.

According to the synopsis, “Terror Tales of the Park VI” sees the gang gather in the house on the Dome to tell spooky Halloween stories with a science fiction twist.
