Blake Shelton -- the singer, songwriter and, most recently, one of the stars of reality music TV series “The Voice” -- came away the big winner in the 46th Country Music Assn. Awards ceremony Thursday in Nashville, winning entertainer, male vocalist and song of the year honors, the latter shared with his wife, Miranda Lambert. “When I moved to Nashville in 1994, I had two goals: one day to have a gold record, and one day to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry,” the 36-year-old Oklahoma native told the crowd looking on in the country music capital’s Bridgestone Arena. “Entertainer of the year -- what is this? ... I don’t know how this happened, but I freaking love it.”

The accusations in Sam Lutfi’s case against Britney Spears’ parents and her conservators may have been sensational, but the evidence just didn’t hold up -- at least in the eyes of the judge, who tossed the suit Thursday before it made it to the jury. Lutfi’s lawsuit had accused Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears, of libel and her dad, Jamie Spears, of battery. It also accused her conservatorship of failing to pay him a 15% fee on the singer’s income during the time he claimed to have been her manager.

Steven Tyler and the guys from Aerosmith don’t normally do morning shows, as they joked to Matt Lauer on “Today” on Friday morning. And with good reason, as Tyler soon demonstrated when he dropped an F-bomb while Al Roker was doing the weather. Aerosmith made a special early morning appearance on “Today” to promote the band’s new album, “Music From Another Dimension,” by playing a live concert outside Rockefeller Center. But while Tyler and the band warmed up the crowd on stage, they apparently weren’t aware that their stage patter could be heard on the live feed as Roker delivered the weather forecast.

Hulk Hogan has settled his sex-tape lawsuit against former buddy Bubba the Love Sponge, though suits against the disc jockey’s ex-wife and Gawker Media are still out there. The lawsuits, filed two weeks ago, revolve around a 6-year-old security-camera tape showing the former wrestler (real name Terry Bollea) having consensual sex with Heather Clem. She’s since divorced Bubba (born Todd Clem) after marrying him in 2007, with Hogan as best man. One suit was filed in Florida state court against the Clems; the other was filed in U.S. District Court against Gawker Media.
