Animal Planet Investigates: Captive Hunting Exposed: This new special examines the practice of hunting and killing animals in confined spaces, with investigators from the Humane Society infiltrating “canned hunt” operations in two states (9 p.m. Animal Planet).

Sex Crimes Unit: This new documentary follows Robert M. Morgenthau, the pioneering Manhattan district attorney, as his team prosecutes challenging rape cases (9 p.m. HBO).
