Gabriel Aubry files court papers; Halle Berry sees Yo Gabba Gabba

Gabriel Aubry sports a wicked-looking shiner, marring his male-model visage, in recent photos made available by Los Angeles Superior Court.

Aubry, Halle Berry’s ex and the father of her 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, says the black eye wasn’t all he suffered in a confrontation Thanksgiving night with Berry’s fiance, actor Olivier Martinez.

Aubry claims multiple bruises, cuts that required stitching, a broken rib and being subjected to a death threat by Martinez.

“He continued to punch me at least two or three times, kicked me in the ribs … and took my head in his hands and slammed it to the concrete driveway,” Aubry said in court papers filed Monday, according to L.A. Now. Aubry’s filing seeks a restraining order against Martinez. Berry recently was granted a restraining order against Aubry.

Martinez’s and Berry’s versions of events surrounding the fistfight appear to differ from Aubry’s. Martinez reportedly said he was attacked without provocation after Aubry came by to drop off Nahla. And Berry is said to have stated that things didn’t happen as Aubry described.

Berry and Aubry have been wrangling over custody of Nahla since their split in 2010. Berry recently petitioned to be allowed to move her daughter to France. She lost that court battle.

Meanwhile, life went on for Berry and Nahla. Thanksgiving weekend, after the fistfight on the driveway, the mother and daughter went to see “Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get the Sillies Out” at Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live. And Berry had a smile for the flashing cameras.
