“Whoa.”

Keanu Reeves’ unofficial catchphrase feels like the most fitting response to news that an intruder was found in the pool of the actor’s Hollywood Hills home earlier this month -- just three days after he encountered a different trespasser in his abode at 5 in the morning.

The fact that two separate individuals would each encroach on Reeves’ property in the same week -- both “behaving erratically,” according to police officials -- is bizarre enough. What’s weirder still is that the incidents seem oddly prescient of one of his upcoming movies, “Knock Knock.”

Reeves came aboard the psychological thriller from director and co-writer Eli Roth in April, and the plot concerns two femmes fatales who unexpectedly show up at the home of a happily married man, then proceed to turn his perfect life upside down.

Granted, that’s not exactly what happened here: Reeves survived the incidents unscathed (well, maybe startled by the 5 a.m. wake-up call), he’s not married (unless he pulled a Jeremy Renner, that is), and police wouldn’t confirm whether the second suspect was in fact a woman (or that she was naked, as TMZ reported).

Even so, having two strangers traipsing around one’s home is enough to give anybody the chills, whether on screen or off.

On the plus side, Reeves could soon be making headlines for an altogether different reason, if he manages to regain his cinematic footing after recent missteps such as “47 Ronin” and his directorial debut, “Man of Tai Chi.”

Next month he stars in the revenge thriller “John Wick,” which recently premiered at Fantastic Fest to rave reviews. It currently has a “100% fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

In the trailer for the movie, which you can watch above, Reeves emphatically says: “People keep asking if I’m back. Yeah, I’m thinking I’m back.” Here’s hoping.
