Tom Petty Makes His 8th Saturday Night Live Appearance

Rock icon Tom Petty and his band, The Heartbreakers, commanded the stage last weekend as he brought the latest season of Saturday Night Live to a close.

Petty and co. unleashed two new tracks from their upcoming Mojo album (June 15th, Warner Brothers Records). The first, “I Should Have Known It” is a quintessential rock tune laced with some smokey blues guitar.

They followed up with “Jefferson Jericho Blues”, which is a fantastic nod to country blues that makes you want to get out of your seat to clap your hands and stomp your feet.

When it comes to Mojo, Tom and the boys haven’t lost a bit.
