Life is Beautiful festival to offer live stream for charity

Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Outkast, Skrillex and the Weeknd are a few of the nearly 70 acts booked for the Life is Beautiful festival Oct. 24-26 in Las Vegas.
But those burned out from festival season – or just not up for a Vegas weekend – can still catch the action.
For the second year of the three-day music, culinary and learning spectacle, organizers will offer a premium stream of portions of the festival.
In collaboration with iRock2Live PSA Music Series pledge drives, the streaming event will cost $20 for virtual access to the weekend.
Keeping in line with the festival’s aim for social change, the stream will promote student causes and raise funds for participating schools throughout the country.
Lionel Richie, Panic at the Disco, Baauer, OK GO, Tycho, Mayer Hawthorne, Switchfoot, Tune-Yards, Dizzy Wright, Fitz & the Tantrums and Rusty Maples are among the acts that have opted into the stream. More acts are expected to be added in the coming days.
The inaugural year of Life is Beautiful attracted more than 60,000 attendees. Expanded to three days for its second year, organizers are expecting more than 100,000 fans at the festival, which will span 15 blocks in downtown Vegas.
E-tickets can be purchased through the World Trust Foundation’s website. General admission and VIP tickets for the festival – including weekend and single day passes – are still available.
