Ashton Kutcher hospitalized after following ‘fruitarian’ diet
An apple a day keeps the doctor away right? Well, in moderation.
“Two and a Half Men” actor Ashton Kutcher was hospitalized just before he started shooting the film “Jobs” after adopting a fruitarian diet, reported TheSeattlePi.com. Fruitarians try to eat a diet solely based on fruit.
While talking to reporters at the recent Sundance Film Festival, Kutcher divulged he adopted Steve Jobs’ fruitarian diet to help him better play the computer mogul.
“I ended up in the hospital two days before we started shooting the movie,” Kutcher told the Associated Press. “I was like doubled over in pain, and my pancreas levels were completely out of whack, which was completely terrifying, considering everything.”
Jobs died of complications from his battle with pancreatic cancer.
