NCIS After a Navy petty officer (Emily Alabi) escapes from a kidnapper, the investigation links her missing husband to the abduction. Tony Gonzalez reprises his guest role as an FBI special agent. 8 p.m. CBS

The Flash Barry (Grant Gustin) lets his new trainee (Violett Beane) tag along when a new meta-human  (guest star Grey Damon) appears on the scene. Wentworth Miller appears in his recurring guest role. 8 p.m. KTLA

Halloween episodes  ABC’s comedies each mark the candy-laden holiday in their own way starting at 8 p.m. with Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn in “The Middle.” Then Katie (Katy Mixon) enters a Halloween zombie run on new series “American Housewife,” 8:30.  “Fresh Off the Boat” and “The Real O'Neals” follow at 9 and 9:30.

Bull The heads of a wealthy family want Bull (Michael Weatherly) involved in prosecuting their slain daughter's fiancée, but he surprises them by deciding to defend the suspect instead.  Parker Stevenson and Chance Kelly guest star in this new episode. 9 p.m. CBS


This Is Us This new episode of the multi-generational drama reveals the history behind the family's passionate support of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore and Justin Hartley star. 9 p.m. NBC
