The Martian Matt Damon earned an Oscar nomination as lead actor for his performance in director Ridley Scott’s 2015 drama based on Andy Weir’s story of an astronaut mistakenly thought dead by the rest of his crew and left behind on Mars. Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Kristen Wiig, Sean Bean and Chiwetel Ejiofor also star. 8 p.m. HBO

Ms. Matched A woman (Alexa PenaVega) who has built a career as a wedding planner of lavish fairy-tale weddings is teamed up on stage at a wedding expo with a frugal financial advisor (Shawn Roberts), and they give the crowd opposite advice in in this new romantic comedy. 9 p.m. Hallmark
