Independent Lens: The new episode “Beauty Is Embarrassing” chronicles the highs and lows of commercial artist Wayne White as he struggles to find peace and balance between his work and his art (10 p.m. KOCE).

Presidential Inauguration: Coverage of President Barack Obama’s second term inauguration will air for most of the morning on broadcast networks and cable news channels (6 a.m. CNN; 6:30 a.m. KABC; 7 a.m. KCBS; KNBC; MSNBC; 7:30 a.m. KTTV; 8 a.m. KOCE; CNBC; FNC; FOXB; 10 a.m. KTLA). CNN will air highlights in “The Presidential Inauguration” (4; 5; 6; 8; 9 p.m.).
