Like, ohmygod, guys! This is totes more awesome than Miley Cyrus’ brillz idea of Starbucks offering home delivery: Mindy Kaling, who will helm her own comedy this fall on Fox, will still be Kelly Kapoor on “The Office” ... for at least two episodes.

“I’m headed back for the premiere and maybe another episode,” Kaling said during the Television Critics Assn. press tour on Monday, where she was promoting her new series,”The Mindy Project.”

“I got so attached to that character even though I have, like, one line maybe every episode,” Kaling said. “It will be fun to see what happens to Kelly.”

Kaling has played the fast-talking pop culture nut on “The Office” since its premiere in 2005. But her limited time onscreen stems from her many hours behind-the-scenes as a writer and executive producer on the show.

But this fall, her focus shifts and she’ll be reciting a lot more lines as the star of “The Mindy Project” (she also serves as one of its executive producers). The show will be paired with “The New Girl”as part of Fox’s Tuesday comedy block. It’s a spot that puts her in company with her buddy Zooey Deschanel beginning Sept. 25.

“Zooey is like charm on a plate,” Kaling said. “It makes me feel really lucky.”

Ahead of the TV premiere, Fox is giving a two-week online preview of the first episode on Facebook and other online sites (including Hulu and Yahoo) starting Aug. 27.
