‘Bob’s Burgers’ keeps grilling on Fox, renewed for fourth season

Fox has ordered a fourth season of “Bob’s Burgers” —can we get fries with that?

The Emmy-nominated animated comedy will return with a 22-episode order.

Kevin Reilly, the network’s chairman of entertainment, said in a statement: “We love ‘Bob’s.’ We are really proud of the way the show has grown over the past three seasons – without losing the unique voice at its core – and we know that the best is yet to come for ‘Bob’s Burgers’ and its fans.”

The series is part of Fox’s Animation Domination block, which includes “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy,” on Sundays. Though its ratings were down last fall, its current season seems to be looking well done. Its most recent episode drew 4.9 million viewers, with a 2.3 in the demographic of viewers ages 18 to 49.

Fans of the Belchers will soon see the ground beef-loving clan during the holidays, as the show gets its first-ever Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes.
