FXX has ordered a 10-episode first season of a new comedy series “Man Seeking Woman” starring Jay Baruchel, who may sound familiar to anyone who’s a fan of the “How to Train Your Dragon” films — he voices Hiccup.

In the new series, created by former “Saturday Night Live” writer Simon Rich, Baruchel plays Josh Greenberg, a naive guy on a quest for love that’s described by the channel as “fantastical.”

The series is based on Rich’s collection of short stories “The Last Girlfriend on Earth.”

Eric Andre, Britt Lower and Maya Erskine also star in the series. Rich’s former “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels will be executive producer.

Rich was a writer for “SNL” from 2007 to 2011. His new series is expected to debut on FXX in 2015.
