Defiance In this new episode Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas) returns to Defiance and is promptly arrested, but the Major Pottinger (James Murray) offers Nolan (Grant Bowler) a deal for her release. 8 p.m. Syfy
Rookie Blue Series regular Gregory Smith doubles as director one more for this the new episode of the police drama. Oliver Becker, Missy Peregrym, Peter Mooney and Ben Bass also star. 9 p.m. ABC
Dominion Alex (Christopher Egan) tries to reject his new role as the Chosen One in this new episode. 9 p.m. Syfy
Last Comic Standing In this new episode Cheryl Hines mentors contestants as they compete in sketch comedy. 10 p.m. NBC
NY Med Manhattan’s New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Newark’s University Hospital are the settings as this unscripted series begins its second season. Dr. Mehmet Oz is the most famous physician featured, but others return from the show’s first season. 10 p.m. ABC
Beyond Scared Straight The dramatic documentary series that tries to help troubled teenagers by showing them the realities of life behind bars returns for a new season. 10 p.m. A&E
