Hundreds of people gathered outside Temple Emanu-El in Manhattan on Sunday while comedian Joan Rivers’ funeral took place inside. Fashion magazine The Daily Front Row gave out its second annual Fashion Media Awards at a gala event Friday night at the Park Hyatt New York. There was a big turnout of models and Dakota Fanning, Claire Danes and Laverne Cox were among the Hollywood representatives.
Award winners were: Stefano Tonchi, W, fashion magazine of the year; Carine Roitfeld, CR Fashion Book and Harper’s Bazaar, fashion creative of the year; Graydon Carter, Vanity Fair, best September issue; Inez & Vinoodh, fashion photographer of the year; Kate Upton, model of the year, social media; Naomi Campbell, television personality of the year; Kevin O’Malley, Elle, publisher of the year; Kenzo, fashion advertising campaign of the year; Ying Chu, Glamour, Maybelline New York’s beauty innovator of the year.
