What Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga wore to the AMAs
Sunday belonged to Taylor Swift, but Lady Gaga also turned a few heads at the American Music Awards. Swift, who won four awards including artist of the year, wore a short gold dress by Julien Macdonald along with Jimmy Choo’s Madison shoes.
Gaga made her entrance riding a human-powered “horse” and wearing a lilac gown from Versace’s spring-summer 2014 collection. Later, she performed in an Atelier Versace Swarovski crystal jacket and pleated skirt, which she removed to reveal an Atelier Versace bodysuit also embroidered with Swarovski crystals with chain mail detail.
Oh, and Miley Cyrus wore a Versus Versace white pants suit with gold safety pin details on the jacket (buttoned over bare skin) and trousers.

In other fashion news, David and Victoria Beckham donated 500 pieces of clothing to a British Red Cross resale store to raise money for typhoon victims in the Philippines. Organizers hoped to raise about $800,000 from the collection, which sold out in just a few hours last week. [WWD]
The fashion industry is also rallying to help the typhoon victims. Among those involved in relief efforts are Josie Natori, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Fashion Girls for Humanity, the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation, Jones, Kids in Distressed Situations, Fashion Delivers, Kara Ross New York and Hanesbrands Inc., WWD reports. Sutton Foster, Jane Kaczmarek and Debbie Allen were among celebrities who attended the opening night of “Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty” ballet in Los Angeles. The ballet reimagines the fairy tale as a gothic romance, with vampires and time travel. [Society News LA]
