Tracy Anderson Method class to live-stream at Westfield malls

Need to rev up for the New Year?

Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson (Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Richie are clients) is taking her workout regimen to the masses with a special dual-location event at Westfield Topanga and Westfield Century City on Jan. 28.

A Tracy Anderson Method class will be streamed live from her Brentwood flagship via LED screens at both malls, with Anderson representatives onsite to guide mall customers in a free workout.

Participants must RSVP to TAM@Westfield.com, and put either Westfield Century City or Westfield Topanga in the subject line.

The event begins at 6 p.m. At Westfield Topanga -- 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Canoga Park -- the class is to take place in the Canyon area on Level 1 between Target and Nordstrom. At Century City -- 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles -- it’s set to be in the center court near Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Figat7th plans a free screening of Disney’s “Frozen” at 6 p.m. Wednesday and has teamed with hairstylists and MAC Cosmetics to host a complimentary beauty bar where guests can receive “Frozen”-inspired hair and makeup services before the show, beginning at 4 p.m. The movie screening is in the Taste food area -- and the beauty bar will be next to Taste, which is on the first level of the mall at 735 S. Athleta at the Grove is planning a fitness and health event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. For three days, the Colleagues nonprofit boutique in Santa Monica will operate a pop-up filled with new clothing, shoes and bags donated by Jenni Kayne. All proceeds from the pop-up go to support the Colleagues’ charity, the Children’s Institute. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the boutique at 3312 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica. In addition to the Jenni Kayne collection of new samples and overstock goods, the boutique resells donated clothing made by top designers including Armani, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Versace, Tory Burch and more.
