Vintage Malibu opens at Malibu Country Mart
Vintage Malibu, a curated boutique offering jewelry, watches and handbags from high-end designers, has opened at Malibu Country Mart.
The boutique offers labels such as Chanel, Patek Philippe, Bulgari and Audemars Piguet.
Customers can buy, sell, consign or trade items at the shop, which was designed by the Somogyi Group.
It’s at 3835 Cross Creek Road, Suite 38, in Malibu, (310) 456-7100, and is open during regular mall hours.
In February, Malibu Country Mart expects to welcome swimwear retailer Letarte, which is scheduled to open on the 15th in Suite 7. Among its offerings, the store will carry swimwear, cover-ups, sportswear, children’s beachwear, and a line of home accessories.
Events
Le Fashion Truck mobile boutique is celebrating its third anniversary on Friday. The truck will be open for sales from 4 to 8 p.m. outside the W Los Angeles in Westwood. From 9 p.m. to midnight the party moves inside to Whiskey Blue, where DJ Lalaland is set to spin and there will be a complimentary Champagne toast. The event will also feature pop-up boutiques from local designers, giveaways and more. Guests are encouraged to bring a sweater, coat or jacket to donate to Food on Foot or the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Center in exchange for a 15% off coupon good on Le Fashion Truck merchandise. The W is at 930 Hilgard Ave., Los Angeles.
Designer Kelly Wearstler and journalist Nancie Clare are slated to meet the public at a book-signing for Clare’s new Assouline book “In the Spirit of Beverly Hills” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 15 at Wearstler’s flagship boutique, 8440 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood. rsvp@kellywearstler.com
