Lady Gaga’s VMA meat dress goes on tour

Share

The meat dress Lady Gaga wore to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010 has been dried, preserved and painted to look like it’s original raw hue (kind of sounds like jerky), and now it’s part of a traveling exhibition of artifacts on display as part of the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power” tour. Items representing 70 rock divas are included. The exhibit is to be on view in Washington through Jan. 6, and then will move on to Omaha, Seattle and Phoenix. [Washington Post]

As expected, Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte, who has indicated an interest in fashion design, is making the rounds at New York Fashion Week. [Los Angeles Times]

MTV announced on on the 2012 VMA red carpet Thursday night (and later in a news release) that models Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls will host the digital remake of “House of Style.” The new series is to debut Oct. 9 on MTV Style.
